There are three phases of care a patient will progress through while under chiropractic care. The length of each phase is at the discretion of the doctor and varies from patient to patient.

| Phase 1 |
Designed to reduce or eliminate most of the discomfort and to stabilize the health concern in the least amount of time. It is common for visits to be frequent during this phase of care. To reduce or remove the symptoms, repeated visits are essential. The duration of Phase 1 care is at the discretion of the doctor. |

| Phase 2 |
Designed to correct any underlying spinal injury as well as to strengthen muscles, improve spinal function and provide more complete or optimum healing of tissues and organ systems. During this time, reduced visits are initiated and are enhanced with home stretches and other exercises to be added to daily routine. Since many conditions do develop over many years, it is worth remembering that these health concerns will not be eliminated in just a few weeks or adjustments. The duration of Phase 2 care is at the discretion of the doctor. |

| Phase 3 |
Lifetime care with the frequency of office visits varying depending on the patient, and it begins with the maximum reduction of the clinical indicators of nerve interference. It provides ongoing support and strengthening for the patient’s structure andit will also assist in preventing the return of the original health concern once spinal correction has been achieved. This Phase is often referred to as “Wellness Care” or “Maintenance Care,” though “maintenance” may be a misnomer. In Phase 3, patients are offered the opportunity to receive periodic checkups and adjustments when needed, to keep their structures as healthy as possible. |
